Brand Refresh and New Website for Young & Norgate

Furniture makers Young & Norgate needed a modern website that reflected the quality of their work and supported their outbound sales. We refreshed their brand and rebuilt their site to do exactly that.

About the business

Young & Norgate is an award-winning furniture, joinery and kitchen maker based in Bristol. They design and build bespoke pieces for high-end residential and commercial spaces, with a reputation for craftsmanship, detail and quality.

The problem

Young & Norgate’s website no longer reflected the quality of their work or the business they had grown into. Built several years earlier, it was difficult to use, visually dated, and wasn’t supporting their outbound sales or helping the team clearly showcase their capabilities.

The solution

We refreshed Young & Norgate’s brand and redesigned their website with sales in mind. The new site presents their work clearly, reflects their award-winning craftsmanship, and gives the team a flexible, easy-to-manage platform that supports both inbound interest and outbound sales conversations.

The detail

Young & Norgate’s website had been built over five years earlier and hadn’t evolved alongside the business. While their work, reputation and client base had grown, the site no longer reflected the level they were operating at. It was difficult to use, visually dated, and wasn’t helping the team have better sales conversations.

Our first step was to understand who Young & Norgate wanted to target and the full breadth of projects they could deliver. From there, we gently modernised their existing brand, keeping its heritage, but evolving it to reflect Young & Norgate ten years on: sophisticated, award-winning and highly detail-oriented. This included designing a new suite of custom icons to support the updated look and feel.

We then wireframed the website with sales front of mind. Every page was structured to help potential clients quickly understand what Young & Norgate does, see relevant examples of work, and take the next step. We wrote all website copy with conversion in mind, refreshed their case studies, and created a downloadable brochure to support outbound sales activity.

To give the team more control day-to-day, we migrated the site from WordPress to Webflow. This made it easier for the team to update content, improve SEO, and keep the site current. We also implemented analytics tracking and introduced a compliant cookie policy.

The outcome

Young & Norgate now has a website that reflects the quality of their work and actively supports both inbound and outbound sales.
