A Website and SEO Strategy to Fuel Pageticker’s Growth Engine

Pageticker had a strong product and a clear mission - but their website wasn’t converting, and their message wasn’t landing with the right audience. The Marketing Plot stepped in to reposition the brand, rebuild the site, and deliver a scalable SEO strategy.

About the business

Pageticker is an edtech startup helping schools and parents inspire a love of reading through a digital reading diary. Created by a team of former educators and parents, Pageticker blends a love of learning with smart technology.

The problem

Pageticker was driving traffic but struggling to convert. Their site lacked clear calls to action, buried key info like pricing and trials, and their brand messaging focused on children rather than the actual buyers: schools and local authorities - a common challenge in edtech. With SEO underperforming and competitors dominating search, they needed a site built to convert and a strategy to grow fast.

The solution

The Marketing Plot delivered a two-part solution to set Pageticker up for growth. First, we redesigned their website with clear calls to action, visible pricing, and messaging tailored to buyers, creating a flexible, conversion-focused platform they could scale with. Second, we developed a practical SEO strategy, including a full audit, keyword research, content planning, and blog briefs, giving their team the tools to execute confidently and effectively.

How we did it

1. Reframe the Messaging

We identified the real buyer and pivoted the brand voice to speak directly to them: schools, heads, parents, and budget holders, while still reflecting the heart and purpose of the product.

2. Redesign for Conversion

We overhauled the user journey to highlight pricing, simplify access to free trials and demos, and integrate product strengths throughout the site.

3. Build the SEO Engine

From technical audits to a full content strategy, we gave Pageticker a clear, actionable roadmap to climb the search rankings and stay there, all tailored to their in-house capabilities.

The Result

The project delivered a complete digital foundation for Pageticker, one built not just to look good, but to perform. This included:

  • Implemented changes in Wix using existing brand assets
  • Optimised for technical SEO and overall site functionality
